How Care Works Here
Better Results. Fewer Visits. A Clear Plan.
What to Expect at a Consult
A consult is a guided discovery visit, and it starts with listening. We ask for the full history, including the parts you may have been told not to worry about, then we watch how you move. Standing, walking, reaching, breathing, loading the painful side. Most of the useful information comes from watching rather than from asking.
By the end of that visit you will know three things: what we believe is driving the problem, what we would do about it, and roughly how long it should take. If someone else is the better fit for you, we will say so and help you find them. Under Florida direct access no physician referral is required, so nothing has to be arranged before you book a consult with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Private, One-To-One, and Unhurried
Every appointment runs sixty minutes with one therapist in a private room, and the hour belongs to you from start to finish. Where a busier clinic has a therapist looking after three or four people at once, here there is one person in the room with you, listening and working with their hands.
That unhurried time is also what makes fewer visits possible. Sustained manual work needs time to do anything, and retraining a movement pattern needs repetition under supervision. Give both the room they need and you get further in each visit, which is how the total comes down.

Same Therapist, Every Visit
The Same Therapist, Every Visit
Continuity is not a nicety here, it is the mechanism. The therapist who assessed you on day one already knows what changed since the last session, what you tried at home, and what your shoulder felt like under their hands last week. That memory is clinical data, and keeping it with one person is what makes the next hour count.
It also means the plan can adapt in the open. If something is not working by visit three, we will tell you and change it, rather than seeing out a block for the sake of it. You can meet the clinicians who deliver those hours on our physical therapy team.
Hands-On Work Plus Real Movement
Manual therapy and exercise are not competing philosophies, they are two halves of the same visit. We use skilled hands to change the tissue and the joint, then immediately load the new range so your body keeps it. Release on its own tends to fade by the weekend, and retraining on its own tends to recruit the same old compensation. Together they hold.
Which hands-on approach we reach for depends on what we find. Sustained fascial work through Barnes myofascial release therapy, mechanical assessment through the McKenzie Method for back and neck pain, or curve-specific training through certified Schroth scoliosis therapy.
The Six Pillars of Our Care
Each pillar is a genuine specialty rather than a service line. Most plans draw on more than one.
TMJ & Headache Therapy
Jaw and Headache Relief.
Spine & Scoliosis Care
Myofascial Release
Lasting relief when nothing else has worked.
Pelvic Floor & SIJ Pain Therapy
Private, discreet care for men and women.
Balance & Vestibular
Steady footing and a clear head, one hour at a time.
Running Rehab
From the injury that stopped you to the mileage you miss.
What We Use Inside Your Session
Supporting modalities are folded into your program when they earn their place. None of them is a treatment plan on its own, and none of them goes on the schedule before we know you need it. Your therapist chooses from the following based on what the assessment found and how you responded last visit.
- Trigger point dry needling
- Cupping
- Therapeutic massage
- Kinesiotape
- IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization)
- InBody body composition analysis
- AlterG anti-gravity treadmill
- Hands-on manual therapy
- Sports and orthopedic rehabilitation
The AlterG anti-gravity treadmill deserves a note. It lets us unload a percentage of your bodyweight so running or walking mechanics can be rebuilt while a joint is still healing, which shortens the gap between being "cleared" and being back to full activity.
How Self-Pay Works
We are a self-pay practice by choice, and it is the choice that protects your hour. Insurance contracts set visit lengths and decide which techniques get reimbursed. Working outside them lets us give you a full private hour, and lets your care finish when you are genuinely better.
In practice it is simple. HSA and FSA funds are welcome. Superbills are provided on request if you would like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. No referral is needed under Florida direct access. And your care is planned as a program of sessions with clear pricing rather than billed visit by visit, so the total is known before you start.
What "Fewer Visits" Means In Practice
It means the arithmetic is different, not that anyone is rushing you out. When a whole hour is skilled, one-to-one attention, you simply cover more ground per appointment. Mechanical back and neck problems often shift meaningfully within two or three visits. Long-standing chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and scoliosis work take longer, and you will hear that from us at the consult, right at the start.
It also means you leave with something you can do without us. Every plan includes self-treatment you own, whether that is positional release with a ball at home, a specific loading progression, or a breathing pattern that keeps a curve from collapsing. The goal is to send you off independent. Where travel is the obstacle, in-home concierge physical therapy brings the same private session to your address, and clients often split care across our North Miami, Aventura and Wynwood clinics depending on the week.
